We love how Kangana Ranaut shares her thoughts without any filter. Here are a few of them that she said recently.
Kangana Ranaut is audacious enough to make shocking statements about anything and everything. Not a woman to mince her words, she is perhaps the only one who has the guts to speak up her mind without sugarcoating it. Now why wouldn’t she have the guts? She is a completely self-driven woman. In an industry worshipping the A-listers, she has managed to make her mark on the basis of her movies. She alone is enough to get Rs. 100 crore at the box office. How gallant is that. As for her statements, the fact that it shocks the life out of us everytime is because before her nobody had the gall to say them. She isn’t here to please anyone but her audience and that’s what she is doing. We bring to you 10 of her quotes which prove she has always been an honest soul.
“In my biopic, if it ever gets made, you will play that typical Bollywood biggie who is snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders, flag-bearer of nepotism, movie mafia…”
This is not the first time that Kangana Ranaut appeared on Karan Johar’s show but it could be the last if the filmmaker decides to take offence to what she said to him on the show. The promo was so exciting and we are dying to watch the episode now.
“I am in a relationship like that. It has already happened to me.”
In this ‘good friends’ world, Kanagna decided to accept she is in a relationship. We agree it’s sudden, we weren’t really expecting that and trust only Kangana to catch us off guard!
“They are bullies. They think with their name and fame they can shame me.”
Only recently, Kangana spoke to a magazine about Adhyayan Suman’s outrageous interview against her. She couldn’t believe people were talking about her menstrual blood. And then she took a dig at the mentality by saying, “Can you imagine I was accused of mixing my menstrual blood in food to bring men under my spell? Look at what happened to my sister Rangoli. Some bully threw acid on her face because he thought it was okay to do such a thing because she said no to him. It is the same mentality.”
“(Men think) Intimidating women aren’t worth having sex with.”
That’s not all that she said here. Kangana was quoted further saying, “Bold, stubborn women, who are achievers, are desirable only to those who are strong and assured. (For some men) it’s frightening to handle a woman who can speak her mind. Thankfully, that’s not true of everyone. Courage is often endearing and rare.”
“And then I did a photo shoot and then they gave me the robe and there was nothing inside that robe. And it looked like some adult film”
Kangana unapologetically accepted that Gangster rescued her from the clutches of an adult film perhaps. “I think the first ever would be the break that I got from my film Gangster. Because I remember getting a very shady offer. I think it was not a good movie. But I was like ‘okay fine, I will do it’. But then I got Gangster and I am like ‘I will do that film’. And then my producer got furious and I was in trouble for some time because I abandoned that project. And I was very young. I was 17 or 18. And if I would not have gotten Gangster, I am sure I would have done that film. But I think the thing about me was that I always said yes to every offer, ” the actress had revealed.
“That big moustache of Shahid is horrible. It was such a … Not a turn-off but a tragedy of different level! When I asked him about it, he said he applies wax and has a running nose!”
Kangana didn’t mince words when she spoke about Shahid Kapoor, her Rangoon co-star and his moustache. Yes, it’s TMI but we have to give it to her. She said it!
“Shahid must have borrowed this statement from Hrithik.”
Today Bollywoodlife caught up with Kangana whose promoting Rangoon these days, and spoke to her about Shahid Kapoor’s comment on how she has a vivid imagination. She was quick to say that he must have borrowed it from Hrithik. Interesting, isn’t it?
“PC, it’s you”
On No Filter Neha, Kangana was asked who has the fake laugh in the industry and she named Priyanka Chopra. Go ahead and imagine things!
“It (Love at first sight) is total BS. I can’t begin to comprehend how people think they will find love on a dating app. How on earth can you find someone attractive if you don’t even know them?”
It could easily be a dig at those who are still looking for dates on Tinder and other dating apps. Just saying!
“I was p**ing behind rocks, changing behind rocks. My own people would just cover me. Everyone was, so was Shahid (Kapoor). There was nothing, so what do you do?”
Have you ever heard anyone be this honest about hardships during shooting a film? Calling spade a spade is what Kangana teaches us and we love her for that.
