Alia Bhatt is an Indian actress popular in bollywood. She has made her bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s blockbuster hit ‘Student of the Year’ along with Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. She was first seen as a child artist in the film “Sangharsh” (1999) starring Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta. She was last seen in the movie Dear Zindagi. Alia Bhatt was born on March 15, 1993 in Mumbai to Bollywood’s renowned personalities Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Her father is a director, producer and screen-writer while her mother is also a director and a film actress. She was chosen as the face of top brands like Garnier and Maybelline in India.
Alia Bhatt’s first acting role was as a child artist in 1999 film Sangharsh. She played the role of Preeti Oberoi in the movie which starred Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. As a lead actress she came into limelight with the super hit film Student of the Year. After this film she has featured in films like Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Shashank Khaitan. It is produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner. The film is the sequel to 2014 movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. It stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Gauahar Khan in lead roles. The film will release on 10 March 2017. She will also be seen in Aashiqui 3 alongwith Sidharth Malhotra. Since it is part of the Aashiqui franchise, Alia will be playing a singer in the flick.
