Anushka Sharma is an Indian actress and former model, who is seen in Bollywood films. She made her acting debut with Aditya Chopra’s “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” opposite Shahrukh Khan. After that, she has acted in many movies like ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, ‘PK’, ‘NH10’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Sultan’ and many more. She was last seen in the flick Phillauri.
Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 to Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma in Ayodhya, U.P.. Her father works in Indian Army who hails from Uttar Pradesh and mother is a housewife belongs to Garhwali. She was brought up in Bangalore and completed her studies from Army School. She is a graduate in Arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Yash Chopra’s romantic film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”.
Bollywood actress turned producer Anushka Sharma, has proved her talent in different zones. She made her debut as a producer under her home banner Clean Slate Films, with NH10. Her second movie as producer was ‘Phillauri’, in which she was seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma.
She will also be seen in her third home production film ‘Kaneda’, which stars Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. It will be directed by Navdep Singh.
Buzz is that, the actress is planning for a film ‘Pari’, which will be the first co-production of her banner Clean Slate Films and Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor’s KriArj Entertainment. It stars Anushka Sharma and Bengali star Parambrata Chatterjee in lead roles and handled by debutant director Prosit Roy.
