After that, she has acted in many movies like ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, ‘PK’, ‘NH10’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Sultan’ and many more. Anushka Sharma made her debut as a producer under her home banner Clean Slate Films, with NH10. Her second movie as producer was ‘Phillauri’.
Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 to Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma in Ayodhya, U.P.. Her father works in Indian Army who hails from Uttar Pradesh and mother is a housewife belongs to Garhwali. She was brought up in Bangalore and completed her studies from Army School. She is a graduate in Arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
