Brazilian Beauty Larissa Bonesi Looks Super Sexy In Red Dress In Her Latest Hot Photoshoot
When producer Rohin Reddy spotted Larissa Bonesi in an automobile ad and reached out to her with an offer for Thikka, she had no clue that Telugu was a language! “When I was approached for Thikka, I was told that I wouldn’t be speaking in Hindi or English, but in Telugu. I had been working in Mumbai since 2011, but I had never heard about Telugu. I was very excited that I got this opportunity but at the same time, I was confused,” recalls Larissa, who was last seen in a cameo in Saif Ali Khan’s Go Goa Gone. While she admittedly, “jumped in at the prospect of doing a full-fledged role”, Larissa knew nothing else about her Tollywood debut. “I had no idea what a big opportunity I had on my hands. It was only later that I came to know that Teju (Sai Dharam Tej) comes from this family of several well-known actors.”
Talking about all the work it took to get into the skin of a Telugu ammayi, the Brazilian beauty, says, “They wanted me to undergo a month’s workshop so that I could turn into a pakka Telugu girl. I think I managed well ‘cos here I am today,” she shares, laughing. Elaborating on the experience of transforming into her character, Anjali, she adds, “I had to learn a lot and unlearn a lot more to express myself the way a Telugu girl would. For instance, I’m accustomed to doing everything with a little retrain — be it laughing, crying and generally expressing myself. But being a Telugu girl meant my expressions had to be a little more dramatic. So, I had to laugh out louder, cry harder….” The many new mannerisms that she had to adopt left her surprised, she confesses. “I don’t know if it was this role in particular or if girls here are generally this way, but I felt it was all a bit loud,” she admits.
