After playing girl-next-door roles, actress Eesha Rebba has landed an interesting part in her forthcoming Telugu film Subramaniapuram. Directed by debutant director Santosh Jagarlamudi, the mystery thriller features Nagarjuna’s nephew Sumanth.
Talking about the project, Eesha says, “This is the first time that I will be part of a thriller, so when the opportunity came, I was more than thrilled to be a part of this.”
On her role, she says, “I play Priya, the only daughter of the village president of an ancient village, Subramanyapuram. She is both beautiful and pious, and is deeply concerned about the welfare of the villagers. She falls in love with Karthik, an atheist and a rationalist. How she helps Karthik in his investigation is the crux of the film.”
