Neetu Chandra is a theatre and film actress born in Patna, Bihar, India. Before entering Hindi films, Neetu was an avid sportsperson. She also has a blackbelt in Taekwondo, and has a National Games Silver Medal in the martial art. Neetu has represented India at the International Taekwondo Championship at Hong Kong (1996) and the World Korfball Championship (1995) at New Delhi. Neetu started her career with small print ad campaigns in Delhi. She entered films in 2005 with Garam Masala, in which she portrayed an airhostess. In 2006, she starred in the Telugu film Godavari, directed by Sekhar Kammula.Neetu got a good break in 2007, when she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Traffic Signal.
