Mandana Karimi is an Iranian model turned actress. She was born on March 19, 1988 in Tehran, Iran. Her mother Zahra is an Iranian and father Ali Riza is an Indian. She lived in Iran till she was 15 and then moved to Dubai and completed her education there. She made her bollywood debut with Bhaag Johnny movie opposite Kunal Khemu and Zoa Morani. She has done few modelling assignments in India and in the middle East. She is complimented for her looks being similar to Hollywood beauty Elizabeth Hurley. She shot to fame for her participation in the reality show Bigg Boss Nau.
Mandana would like to shape her career like Kangana Ranaut has in these past couple of years. She didn’t give a thought to acting till she visited India on a modelling assignment in 2010.
In 2011, she started taking lessons in Hindi and later enrolled herself at Barry John’s acting academy to discover the nuances of the art. She also began learning dance. In 2013, the young girl signed two movies back to back. She made her debut with the flick Bhaag Johnny opposite Kunal Khemu followed by Kya Kool Hain Hum 3.
