Kamya lost her best friend Pratyusha Banerjee last year on April 1. The year has passed and it’s Pratyusha’s first death anniversary. Good friend Kamya has decided to back the release of her last short film – Hum Kuch Keh Na Sake – where Pratyusha plays a girl broken in love, facing severe depression.
This is similar to what Pratyusha was going through in real life, before she allegedly committed suicide last year. Boyfriend and prime accused in the case Rahul Raj Singh had filed for a stay order on the film and also demanded Rs. 1 crore as compensation. The Court has reportedly granted the stay order and asked the makers NOT to release the film until they give their statements.
But Kamya is not the one to bow down. We called her up today morning and she clarified, “Nothing can stop me. I will see you all at 4 pm today. I am definitely showing the film to everyone.”
