Sonakshi Sinha was born on June 2, 1987. She has completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai and graduated in Fashion Designing from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, Mumbai. She was the cover girl of Maxim Magazine, India for the month of December, 2010. Sonakshi has started her career as a costume designer and designed costumes for the film ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ in 2005. Later she made her debut with the film Dabangg for which she won many awards. She was also a part of movies like Lootera, Boss, Bullett Raja, R… Rajkumar, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Action Jackson to name a few. In 2014, she made her Kollywood debut opposite Rajnikanth in KS Ravikumar’s Lingaa.
As per the latest reports, Sonakshi Sinha is now ready to take on the role of a producer. She said, “That is the next step, given my experience in the industry. I am waiting for a story that appeals to me strongly.”
Sonakshi Sinha will soon be seen in a new project titled “Ittefaq” alongwith Sidharth Malhotra. It is the remake of the 1969 movie with the same title starring Rajesh Khanna and Nanda. The film is being produced by Red Chillies, Dharma and BR films.
