Sonam Kapoor is an Indian film actress, who made her debut with the bollywood film Saawariya. She got her first commercial success with the romantic comedy ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ in 2010 followed by Aisha and many more. She is acknowledged as a fashionista and praised for her unique sense of style. She is the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris and has represented the cosmetic giant at the 69th Cannes International Film Festival. She will soon be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s directorial debut ‘Veeray Di Wedding’ alongwith Kareena Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. Recently, she received the Global Style Icon Award at the Brand Vision Summit.

Sonam Kapoor will be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor after 10 years in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. It’s a cameo and she will have six-seven minutes scene in the film. Sonam has signed director R Balki’s film titled Padman which also stars Akshay Kumar. As per the reports, she will be seen portraying the role of a tabla player. She has been training under tabla player Mukta Madan Raste for the last two months. The film will be produced under Twinkle Khanna’s production house – Mrs. Funnybones Movies.
Sonam Kapoor has made her acting debut with ‘Saawariya’ in 2007 opposite Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Subsequently featured in an offbeat drama film Delhi-6. She has received critical success for her performances in films like Delhi 6 and Mausam.
