Urvashi Rautela’s fake Aadhar card was forged by a woman to book the hotel room, read details – Actress Urvashi Rautela on Wednesday registered a case of cheating, fraud and misusing her identity to book room in a star hotel in Bandra (West). She came to know about the fraud when she went to the hotel on Tuesday night to meet a representative from an advertising agency.
Now in a recent development, the Bandra police has found out that a woman from Mumbai used the hotel room for four hours using a Urvashi’s fake Aadhaar card. As per a report in Hindustan Times, Parul Chaudhary, a model, allegedly arrived and stayed in the hotel room on March 27.
“We suspect that Chaudhary stayed in the room for around four hours. She had left before the actress reached the hotel for an event on March 27,” said a police officer. He further revealed that Parul has shared a phone number with the hotel while booking the room online and thus, the police has asked for her call data records.
Meanwhile, senior Police Inspector Pandit Thackeray from Bandra police station mentioned to India Today that the accused has been untraceable and said, “We are trying to trace the actress but she has switched off her mobile phone and is not present at her residence. She also had used the same suite and had booked it online through an application. We suspect that she could shed some more light into the case but she has been untraceable throughout the day. We expect that we are close to solving the case and the accused will be nabbed soon.”
Reportedly, the Bandra police has filed an FIR under section 420 of IPC and relevant sections of the IT Act.
On the work front, Urvashi was last seen in Hate Story 4.
