Yami Gautam was born on November 28, 1988 to Mukesh Gautam and Anjali Gautam in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. She completed her schooling and then joined college for pursuing degree in law honours. Yami had aspired to join Indian Administrative Services (IAS) when she was young. She has done her part time graduation from Mumbai. Yami is also fond of reading, interior decoration and listening music.
Yami Gautam has been roped in for Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film Kaabil. The movie will be directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan. Yami will play a blind girl. Hrithik and Yami will be seen performing Tango for a dance number in the movie. The film is all set to release on January 26, 2017.
Yami will also be seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar series titled as Sarkar 3. She will play the role as Annu Karkare. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Jackie Shroff in lead roles. The film will hit the screens on 17 March 2017.
